Intensive Therapy for High-Functioning Adults Who Are Ready for Something Deeper
An intensive is not faster therapy. It is deeper therapy. It is what becomes possible when you remove the clock, the commute, the week between sessions where life crowds back in and the thread gets lost.
Here, you have the whole day. You have continuity. A container built entirely around you, held by a therapist who has prepared for your arrival. All intensive sessions are in-person at Meadow Grove Counseling in Lancaster, PA. Clients travel from across the United States.

This works best for people who recognize themselves in most of this.
Intensive work is not right for everyone. The consultation is a genuine clinical assessment, not a formality. If it's not the right fit, that will be said directly.
Every intensive at Meadow Grove is built around you specifically. Before you arrive, Vanessa will have prepared the space with care. There is no generic program here, only your particular history, your nervous system, and what it is ready for.
The space itself is intentional. Sound, scent, and light are considered before you arrive. The sand tray is available throughout. Nothing here is accidental.
Two distinct offerings for trauma recovery and nervous system regulation.
Both include a consultation call before anything is scheduled. Both are self-pay. Visit the Investment page for full information on superbills and out-of-network reimbursement. Traveling to Lancaster? See the visitor guide.
Trauma Reprocessing Intensive
For those carrying experiences that have not fully yielded to weekly therapy. Complex histories. Layered grief. The kind of weight that has been with you long enough that you've stopped noticing how much of your energy it takes.
Therapeutic work draws from EMDR, IFS, Sand Therapy, Deep Brain Reorienting, Somatic Experiencing, and Sound Therapy. Processing is paced to your nervous system, not to a protocol.
Nourish Your Nervous System
Not every form of meaningful work requires excavation. Sometimes what the body needs is to be met where it is. This experience focuses on skill-building, self-awareness, and nervous system regulation. It does not include trauma reprocessing work.
Available to new and existing clients. Offered as a standalone experience, as preparation before a multi-day intensive, or as a return to yourself after one.
A complimentary 45-minute consultation call, a genuine conversation about fit, readiness, and what format makes sense for where you are right now. No obligation. No pressure.
A personalized document written by Vanessa. Not a template. A reflection of what you moved through, what your nervous system learned, and what to carry forward. Yours to keep.
A post-session integration call, held 1 to 2 weeks after. A space to check in on what has settled, what has surfaced, and what support you might need as you move forward.
